Season 7 End & Season 8 Start Dates (Official Link):
You’ll be able to sort through your rollover rewards and review your progress on the Leaderboards between Seasons. It’s a great time to reflect on the accomplishments you’ve made and enjoy the culmination of your pre- and post-Season loot hunts!
Season 7 will be ending on the following dates and times:
- North America: Friday, October 14 @ 5:00 p.m. PDT
- Europe: Friday, October 14 @ 5:00 p.m. CEST
- Asia: Friday, October 14 @ 5:00 p.m. KST
Season 8 will begin about one week afterward on these dates:
- North America: Friday, October 21 @ 5:00 p.m. PDT
- Europe: Friday, October 21 @ 5:00 p.m. CEST
- Asia: Friday, October 21 @ 5:00 p.m. KST
This season end is a little different than what we are used to seeing. I know it's a bit over the top to expect new content for every single season, but to play through another "season 7" only a week after the current season 7 ends may be a little too much to ask of the fans. I hope this means, no......power of positive thinking, I know this means the Diablo team is hard at work on a huge Diablo reveal for Blizzcon, so they did not have enough resources to pump up season 8. If season 8 does mirror season 7, I guess I finally have a good reason to play hardcore for a season.
